Ronnie Wood has not only graced the stage as the guitarist and songwriter of The Rolling Stones, he is also an accomplished painter. As part of his multi-faceted career, Ronnie Wood has found most of his inspiration from the musicians with whom he shares the stage. As you can see from his work, his action portraits are filled with incredible rhythm, flow and vibrancy. Ronnie wood has become extremely involved with the art of printmaking and has produced a number of pieces using various techniques such as etching, drypoint, screenprint and woodcut. In 1996 he had a retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo, Brazil. He has had many one man exhibitions and shown all over the world including South America, in the Far East and throughout Europe. In 2010 he made his American art exhibit debut, with a retrospective exhibition at the Butler Institute in Youngstown, Ohio.
